Rålambshovsskolan reports that the students who were involved in the gamecock writing project in their English classes managed to achieve excellent results on their national English exams. Of course, this doesn’t automatically mean that their great writing skills were only developed by the writing the gamebooks. However, we have seen their skills increase visibly over the school year and it is very likely that the intense time they spent working on their books had a large impact on their skills. For us it is definitely a reason to continue the gamebook writing approach in the future.
